The Startup Incubation and Innovation Centre (SIIC) at IIT Kanpur has been named a key partner in the launch of NMexus.

- The initiative was officially introduced by New Mexico Governor during the SelectUSA Investment Summit.
- Its main objective is to attract foreign direct investment and support international companies in building a strong foothold in the U.S. market.
- In April 2025, SIIC IIT Kanpur signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the NMexus Center to support Indian startups looking to enter the U.S. market.
- Under this partnership, SIIC will offer NMexus access to a curated pipeline of high-quality, market-ready startups.
- In exchange, startups incubated at SIIC will gain access to NMexus’ soft-landing infrastructure, mentorship, regulatory assistance, and business development services tailored specifically for the North American market.
- This collaboration with NMexus aligns seamlessly with our vision of establishing SIIC as a global launchpad for deep-tech ventures.
- It will enable our innovators to enter international markets more smoothly and elevate Indian technology on the global stage.

- It is a global business accelerator and commercialization center based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, established to attract foreign direct investment and assist international companies in expanding into the U.S. market.
- It is situated in the Mesa del Sol innovation district, NMexus offers soft-landing infrastructure, regulatory support, mentorship, and business development services.
