 Design Philosophy: Modern Meets Heritage:

  • Green Building Standards: All Amrit stations adhere to green building standards, contributing to environmental sustainability. This aligns with the government’s ambitious goal of achieving net-zero emissions in India’s railway network by 2030.
  • Cultural Integration: Each station’s design draws inspiration from specific themes, integrating local landmarks and cultural elements.
  • Jaipur Station: Elements resembling the iconic Hawa Mahal and Amer Fort of Rajasthan.
  • Jammu Tawi Station: Inspiration from the renowned Raghunath Mandir in Jammu and Kashmir.

Impact and Vision:

  • Modern Spaces: Passengers will encounter modern amenities, efficient traffic circulation, and well-designed signage for guidance.
  • Local Economy Boost: By supporting local businesses within stations, the scheme contributes to economic growth.
  • Heritage Preservation: The ABSS showcases India’s rich cultural history through its station designs.
