Context: The Uttar Pradesh government is preparing to host the fifth Ground Breaking Ceremony (GBC 5.0) at the Indira Gandhi Pratishthan in Lucknow, likely between November 21 and 30, 2025, aiming to attract investments worth over ₹5 lakh crore.

- The Uttar Pradesh Industrial Development Authority (UPIDA) has been given the highest target of ₹70,000 crore and directed to create a land bank to ensure immediate plot availability for investors.
About fifth Ground Breaking Ceremony (GBC 5.0)

- Objective: To facilitate and accelerate industrial investment in the state and to bolster the confidence of the investors in the state.
- Organised by: Industrial Development Department
- Invest UP is a key entity that is part of the organizing committee and is handling event logistics.
