Context:
The Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI) is set to host the 4th edition of World Food India (WFI) 2025 from 25th to 28th September at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.
About WFI 2025
- This global event will be inaugurated by Prime Minister of India on 25th September, reaffirming India’s commitment to becoming a global hub for food innovation and processing.
- It aims to position India as the “Food Basket of the World” through strategic global partnerships, investments, and innovation.
- Spanning 1,00,000 sq. meters, this mega global food event will host over 21 countries, 21 Indian States/UTs, 10 Central Ministries, and 5 allied government organizations, making it the largest gathering in India’s food processing sector.
