Recently, the Gujarat Chief Minister has launched a new citizen-centric initiative called the SWAR (Speech and Written Analysis Resource) platform, on the occasion of Good Governance Day.

- Its speech-to-text feature, integrated with the “Write to CMO” section of the Chief Minister’s Office website, was inaugurated by the Chief Minister.
- The SWAR platform, developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology’s Bhashini Team (part of the National Language Translation Mission),
- It is an innovative initiative aimed at breaking down language barriers.
- The SWAR platform is its Speech-to-Text functionality, which has been successfully integrated into the Gujarat Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) website.
Features of SWAR:
- Speech-to-Text Functionality: Allows citizens to dictate messages instead of typing manually.
- Bhashini Integration: Uses an indigenous AI system to support speech-to-text conversion.
- Enhanced Grievance Redressal: Significantly improves grievance redressal and feedback mechanisms.
- Future AI Integration: Advanced AI and machine learning capabilities will be added to support the Chief Minister’s Office.
- Upcoming Features: Integration of Natural Language Processing (NLP), Open-Source Generative AI (GenAI), Machine Learning (ML), and Computer Vision into the resource library as per CMO requirements.
- Accessibility: Citizens can submit applications or grievances via voice, even if they are unfamiliar with English keyboards.
