- Representatives from the Golden Book of World Records, Asia Book of Records, and Indian Book of Records visited the site, verified the achievements, and issued official certificates.
- The first record was achieved by laying 34.24 lane kilometers of bituminous concrete within 24 hours in the Hardoi-Unnao section (Package-3).
- This remarkable feat involved covering 171,210 square meters using 20,105 cubic meters of bituminous mix, marking the largest construction work completed globally in a single day.
- This achievement surpassed the previous record of 27 lane kilometers set in 2023 on the Ghaziabad-Aligarh Expressway.
- The work was carried out using five hot mix plants, each with a capacity of 200 tonnes per hour (TPH).
- The second world record was set by installing 10 kilometers of Thrie-beam crash barriers in a single day, a first in expressway construction history.
- To ensure international standards, the expressway’s ride quality and user comfort were assessed using artificial intelligence technology developed by ETH Zurich, Switzerland.
- The construction was carried out by M/s Adani Enterprises Limited, while the record-setting work was executed by M/s Patel Infrastructure Limited.
- The project, being implemented by UPEIDA, is expected to be completed by November this year.
