Recently, the Union Ministry of Commerce & Industry launched the Bharat Startup Knowledge Access Registry (BHASKAR) Portal.
About BHASKAR Portal
- It, under the Startup India program, is a platform designed to centralize, streamline, and enhance collaboration among key stakeholders within the entrepreneurial ecosystem, including startups, investors, mentors, service providers, and government bodies.
- The primary goal of BHASKAR is to build the world’s largest digital registry for stakeholders within the startup ecosystem.
- It is envisioned as a one-stop digital platform where diverse startup ecosystem stakeholders can seamlessly connect and collaborate, catalysing the growth and success of the startup ecosystem across India.
- It will act as a catalyst for innovation and will foster greater connectivity between startups, particularly in tier-2 and tier-3 cities.
