Amrit Bharat Station Scheme

- The scheme aims to enhance and modernise railway stations throughout the Indian Railways network.
- The scheme was launched by the Ministry of Railways, Government of India, in 2022.
- The scheme currently intends to upgrade and modernise over 1,300 stations across the Indian Railway system.
Key improvements include:
- Upgraded entry and exit points
- Renovated waiting halls, toilets, platforms, and roofing
- Installation of lifts, escalators, and free Wi-Fi where required
