World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA)
- It was established in 1999 as an international independent agency to lead a collaborative worldwide movement for doping-free sport.
- WADA’s governance and funding are based on equal partnership between the Sport Movement and Governments of the world.
- The inspiration for Play True Day stems from an Education Conference hosted by WADA in 2013, which was attended by 17 Latin American countries.
National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA)
- It is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India.
- NADA India implements the anti-doping programme in India, in line with the World Anti-doping Code 2021.
- NADA India works in close collaboration with national and international stakeholders to ensure clean sports practices, sharing anti-doping resources and augmenting joint efforts towards achieving fair play.
