- The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has initiated the allocation process for 55 plots in Sectors 29, 32, and 33 to relevant units for setting up eco-friendly facilities under the new policy.
- Under the new policy, BIDA will also allocate plots for units classified under the One District One Product (ODOP) scheme.
- According to information from YEIDA, 240 types of eco-friendly units will be eligible to apply by May 29, 2025.
- A total of 50 plots, ranging from 300 square meters to 8,000 square meters, will be allotted for these units.
- Additionally, 5 larger plots are available, with the largest plot measuring 17,020 square meters.
- The reserve prices for these plots range from ₹64.16 lakh to ₹22.91 crore.
- Allocation will be conducted through an online auction.
About One District One Product (ODOP)
- It was launched by the Government of Uttar Pradesh in 2018.
- It is a comprehensive strategy designed to promote unique local crafts, industries, and products from each of the state’s 75 districts.
- This ambitious project aims to revive traditional industries, generate employment, and boost exports, with a vision to contribute significantly to the state’s goal of becoming a US$ 1 trillion economy.
