- The National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS) is hosting the 5th National EMRS Cultural & Literary Fest and Kala Utsav 2024–UDBHAB (November 12th to 15th), Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
- The event is organized by the Odisha Model Tribal Educational Society (OMTES) to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of the revered tribal leader, Bhagwan Birsa Munda.
- The theme for this year’s fest is “A Tribute to Bhagwan Birsa Munda & Tribal Freedom Fighters,”.

- Participation of Over 2,000 Students: Students from Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) across India will participate, showcasing the rich cultural diversity of tribal communities through various events.
- Cultural & Literary Events: The fest will feature 35 events, including vocal and instrumental music, dance, theatre, and visual arts.
- Holistic Development: The event aims to foster the growth of tribal students by providing a platform to explore their talents, bridge gaps between tribal and mainstream communities, and promote their all-around development.
