- He handed over plot allocation certificates to five investors out of 115 plots allotted for proposed investments of Rs 6,139 crore.
- Gita Press, which has given global recognition to India’s Sanatan heritage has been given an allotment letter for 10 acres of land in GIDA.
- The CM also laid the foundation stone for a flatted factory worth ₹34 crore in Lucknow and a Common Facility Centre for ODOP packaging costing ₹3.91 crore in Gorakhpur.

- Invest UP pavilion: It exhibited UP’s strengthening industrial landscape through detailed displays on major policy frameworks such as UP Industrial Investment & Employment Promotion Policy 2022 and The UP Semiconductor Policy 2024.
- Display of ODOP items: Black pottery from Azamgarh, silk sarees, readymade garments and innovative bakery items made from Siddharthnagar’s iconic kala namak rice also attracted crowds.
- Antique handicraft from Ghazipur and floral herbal teas from Lucknow further added to the diversity.
- He noted that Eastern Uttar Pradesh, long considered industrially neglected, has witnessed a significant turnaround. Over the past eight years:
- Around 500 industrial units have been established within GIDA.
- Investments exceeding ₹11,618 crore have generated nearly 40,000 direct jobs.
- Multiple companies—such as PepsiCo, Coca-Cola, Campa, Kayam Industry, Tatva Plastic, India Auto Wheels, CP Milk and Foods, and Kapila Krishi Udyog—have expanded their presence in the region.
